We use cookies and similar technologies such as tags and tracking pixels on Verno services and digital platforms — websites, portals and applications including vernobooks.com and the Verno reader — to keep them working, to give you the best experience, and to make sure anything we send you is relevant.

This policy sets out the cookies we and our partners set and how they are used, so that you can make an informed choice about using our platforms.

Cookies are specific to each browser, so if you use more than one you will need to set your choice — or block and delete non-essential cookies — in each of them. Rejecting cookies may mean you do not get the best experience of our platforms.

Approved third parties may also set cookies when you use Verno platforms. These include providers of measurement and analytics services, social networks and advertising companies, which use cookies to deliver content and advertising relevant to your interests, to measure how effective it is, and to perform services on Verno’s behalf.

Most browsers’ Help menu will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive one, how to block them, and when they expire. If you block all cookies, neither we nor third parties can set them — but you may have to set some preferences again on every visit, and some features will not work. Some mobile operating systems limit these technologies further, and your choices here do not override those settings.
